Cacao Nib Banana Waffles Recipe


Use a pancake mix or:

  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 2 Tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Tablespoons of butter, melted.
  • Top with Maple Syrup, Koko nibs, Thickened Cream to Serve.


Pre heat your waffle iron. Whisk all dry ingredients. Separately whisk milk and eggs. Pour into dry mix, whisk gently to combine. Slowly whisk in butter.

Cook waffles for 3 mins.

Serve warm with a drizzle of cream first over waffles, add slices of bananas, a dollop of thickened cream on top of bananas, drizzle maple syrup over everything and lastly sprinkle over LOTS of The Koko Samoa Nibs!

The nibs balance this sweet indulgent dish, fresh crunch and a satisfying bitter taste🙂
