Best method These are garment measurements, not body measurements. Lay a similar kimono or outer layer flat and measure it for comparison.

Length Measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.

Width Measure straight across the garment from side seam to side seam. This does not include the sleeves.

Sleeve opening Measure the sleeve opening from top to bottom while the garment is laid flat.
